More countries are receiving vaccines from China. Egypt got its first batch last week. Its health minister said the vaccines were safe for use after clinical trials. Sudan's government announced that 8.4 million doses of a China-developed vaccine will be provided for specific groups, mainly the vulnerable and frontline workers. The United Arab Emirates officially approved Sinopharm's vaccine on December 9 after a lengthy phase-three trial. Nearly 2 million doses of Sinovac's vaccine are on their way to Brazil and are expected to arrive in a few days.
