Authorities in Guangzhou City, south China's Guangdong Province, reported one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case on Sunday. The patient was a staff member at the hotel used to quarantine entrants from overseas.

The authorities immediately organized nucleic acid testing and screening for key populations in the relevant regions.
