A young carpenter in Guizhou Province, southwest China, recently rose to fame after handcrafting a wooden Chang'e-5 replica.
The miniature model of the Chang'e-5 lunar probe weighs more than 100 kilograms, stands over 2 meters, including solar panels and other parts.
An Xu, the creator of the replica, was inspired by news about the Chang'e-5. He said the work was a compliment to the scientists and China's technological achievements.
He has also created many other wooden crafts.
