Winter beauty of the Yellow River in N China
CGTN

A series of aerial photos showcase a breathtaking view of multiple branches of the Yellow River intersecting at Yongji County in north China's Shanxi Province.

The Yellow River, China's second-longest river, is known as the "Mother River" and the cradle of Chinese civilization. Deep into winter, the river's flow begins to diminish, with the river bed splitting the waterway into many small branches. They carry floating white ice, presenting a graceful view of mother nature.
