China suspends more Australian log imports due to detection of pests
China's customs authorities on Wednesday announced a suspension of log imports from Australia's New South Wales and Western Australia after local customs offices detected pests on the imports from these states.
The ban, effective Wednesday, is for pest control and to protect the security of China's ecology and agriculture and forestry production, the General Administration of Customs said.
