Winter fishing season has come once again to Chagan Lake in northeast China's Jilin Province. Each winter, local fishermen use a centuries-old technique to catch fish as temperatures fall from -20 to -30 degrees Celsius. Each fishing crew can only cast their net once a day since the traditional fishing method is very time-consuming. As the fishing season continues, local fishermen will slowly approach the center of the lake, where the highest number of fish are typically caught.
