Shanghai Open University will launch a bachelor's degree program for housekeepers in March. It aims to offer more housekeepers the opportunity to improve their skills and find better jobs. It is the first adult college in China to offer the degree. Rather than merely tidying up students' housekeeping skills, the two-and-half-year undergraduate program will offer courses such as English, psychology and law.
