CGTN's 2nd International Nature Photography Contest is calling for submissions

CGTN Digital's second International Nature Photography Contest is now open! We are calling for submissions of great nature images taken in 2020 in any of these categories: wildlife, geography, environment, human and nature.

Fees: There is no entry fee.

Prizes: Last year our prize was the CGTN 2020 Calendar limited edition. This year, shortlisted participants will receive a special gift and a certificate from CGTN, and their works will be published on CGTN's website and social media platforms.

Submission period:

Submissions open on December 26, 2020, and end on January 26, 2021. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.

Submission requirements:

Photos submitted should be no larger than 4MB, and must be in a .JPEG .JPG or .PNG format. All photos should have a clear focus on the main subject and must have been taken in 2020.

When submitting your works, please provide the following:

• Title of the photo

• Caption: description, time and location.

• Category: wildlife, geography, environment, human or nature.

• Personal details: name, address, phone number, email and a self-introduction (where you're from, your hobbies, jobs and relevant experience with nature, and why you want to participate in our collection) of less than 200 words.

As long as you love wildlife and nature, and care about the planet, please send us your work. And do provide full information as stated above, or you will be disqualified.

Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer. Images will not be used for marketing purposes and will only be published on CGTN's website and social media platforms. If there is a request for other uses, we will forward that request to the photographer via email or phone.
