Northeastern China's Liaoning Province reported six new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Friday, according to local health authorities. 

One is in Shenyang City and five are in Dalian City. Two more asymptomatic cases were also reported in the province on Friday. 

On the same day, Beijing reported two more confirmed cases in its Shunyi District.
