The mutated coronavirus is appearing in some more countries in the world. Besides the UK, the new strain has also been found on the European mainland. Different mutant strains have appeared in Brazil, South Africa and Nigeria. Nigerian officials said the country has been investigating two samples collected in August and October, which could possibly be another variant.
