China on Monday expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition after U.S. President Donald Trump signed a government spending bill that includes provisions about China's Taiwan and Tibet Autonomous Region.
The act will seriously disrupt and hurt China-U.S. relations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said.
The Chinese government firmly resolves to safeguard national sovereignty and security, and strongly urges the U.S. to stop using Tibet-related and Taiwan-related issues to interfere in China's internal affairs, he added.
