China has reported 27 new cases on the mainland, 15 of them locally transmitted. Among the local infections, seven are in the capital Beijing, and eight are in northeastern Liaoning Province. Officials in Beijing's Shunyi District said the area has entered a state of war against the coronavirus. It has tested 1.2 million people. The city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province reported six cases, while Dalian added two. Dalian has tested all of its 6.4 million residents. CGTN's reporter Gao Ang says the port city of Dalian has established a cold-chain food traceability platform for management and is requiring testing and disinfection of all imported cold-chain food. A national epidemiological survey found the infection rate is at a low level among the Chinese population.
