China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has recorded 53 new COVID-19 cases, including 50 local transmissions, the Center for Health Protection (CHP) said on Tuesday.
The origin of 14 infections remains unknown, according to CHP.
Two hospitalized patients died on Tuesday, pushing the city's death toll to 143.
