Top Chinese officials have wrapped up a key work conference with a pledge to continue rural vitalization across China. Chinese President Xi Jinping said agriculture and farmer's issues remain top priorities. He urged for efforts in expanding and consolidating achievements made in poverty eradication and rural vitalization. Food safety was another main topic at the conference. Xi also called for efforts to stabilize the supply of grains and livestock, and to further improve infrastructure, water supply, and living conditions in rural areas.
