After over seven years of negotiations, China and the EU have in principle reached a comprehensive bilateral investment agreement on Ｗednesday, injecting a strong dose of optimism in a shaky global economy. As CGTN anchor Michael Wang observes, this deal comes as China became the EU's largest trading partner for the first time in 2020.
