The city of Shenyang in northeast China's Liaoning Province has entered "wartime mode" after the city reported two new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and a new asymptomatic case on Tuesday, local authorities said.
The city also initiated an emergency response to monitor high-risk groups in order to curb the spread of the virus.
