The "2021 New Year Concert – Sailing in the Greater Bay Area" was presented on January 1, New Year's Day, through multiple media platforms to audiences worldwide. The concert is co-sponsored by China Media Group, Guangdong Provincial Government, and the governments of both Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. This is the first time the four work together to organize an event of this nature and scale. 

The star-studded concert gathered over 50 well-known performers, including singers Aska Yang and Angela Zhang from China's Taiwan. Singers and actors such as Kenny Bee, Julio and other artists from Hong Kong and Macao also contributed to the spectacle.

The concert was held in Shenzhen Civil Center with a light show of high-rise blocks as the background. 

Starting with the chorus "My Motherland," the show was divided into four chapters, wishing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area can be the protagonists of a splendorous 2021, the Year of the Ox on the Chinese lunar calendar.
