While benefiting from many aspects of the internet, such as education and communication channels, teenagers are often exposed to dangers and risks. To better protect them, the Chinese government last year launched a special system which has come to be known as the "teenager mode." Dozens of online video and live broadcast platforms are now employing it, but how effective is it?
