Minor Cold, the 23rd solar term of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms, represents a significant change in temperature.

This year's Minor Cold falls on January 5, which marks the start of the coldest day of the year.

Affected by the cold wave, Huaian City, east China's Jiangsu Province, has experienced strong cold weather, but the plants there take on a different charm during this Minor Cold.
