UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday postponed a post-Brexit trip to India this month after the COVID-19 pandemic worsened in Britain, Downing Street said.
"The prime minister spoke to Prime Minister Modi this morning to express his regret that he will be unable to visit India later this month as planned," a spokesperson said, blaming a fast-spreading variant of the virus.
