Shijiazhuang suspends subway operation due to COIVD-19 outbreak

Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province, has suspended citywide subway operation starting Saturday after entering "wartime mode" against COVID-19.

On Friday, the city recorded 14 new locally transmitted confirmed cases and 16 new asymptomatic cases.
