Global inflation is "coming bad," warned Professor John Gong from University of International Business and Economics. Professor Gong said the U.S. dollar has kept depreciating against the Euro and RMB. He added that the inflation is quite modest in China, but might rise in the coming months amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China's consumer price index, or CPI, rose 2.5 percent year-on-year in 2020.
