Facing a second impeachment and mounting calls for his removal from office, U.S. President Donald Trump remains defiant and has no plans to resign, the AP reported on Sunday.

Trump is reportedly planning to lash out against the companies, including Twitter and Facebook, which have now booted him from their social media platforms, according to the report. 

Meanwhile, his aides are hoping that he will spend the final days of his term "trying to trumpet his policy accomplishments." Trump is expected to travel to Alamo, Texas on Tuesday to tout his administration's attempts to construct a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
