As of January 11, the state of California has reported 2.7 million confirmed COVID-19 cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Los Angeles is one of the most affected areas in the state. Although California authorities have issued a stay-at-home order and closed most non-essential places, the number of newly confirmed cases is still growing rapidly.
