Search and rescue efforts are underway after an explosion ripped through a gold mine under construction in Xicheng Township of Qixia City in east China's Shandong Province at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Twenty-two workers have been trapped underground after the explosion occurred and rescuers have rushed to the scene.
