Two confirmed cases in Hebei traveled to Wuhan

Two patients in north China's Hebei Province were in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province, before being confirmed as COVID-19 cases on Sunday, according to Hebei authorities.

The movements of the two cases were released on Monday. One patient, identified as case No. 57, traveled from Wuhan to Shijiazhuang City on January 4 by train. Authorities had reached 548 close contacts of the patient and all tested negative for COVID-19.

The other patient, identified as case No. 41, traveled from Wuhan to Shijiazhuang City by train on December 25, 2020 with all seven close contacts testing negative.

Wuhan authorities said the city had investigated the movements of the two cases in Wuhan immediately after receiving reports. All districts related to the cases were investigated and conducted environmental disinfection.
