The total number of COVID-19 cases in the United States topped 23 million on Wednesday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
The caseload of the country, which has the most confirmed COVID-19 cases in the world, rose to 23,029,450, with a total of 383,939 deaths, as of 5:22 p.m. local time (2222 GMT), according to the CSSE tally.
