King Abdullah II of Jordan along with Highnesses Prince El Hassan bin Talal and Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein received the COVID-19 vaccine at the Royal Medical Services Clinic on Thursday.

Jordan on Wednesday commenced a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign with the priority for vulnerable groups and frontline health workers. 

Jordanian Health Minister Nazir Obeidat said the vaccination campaign started in 29 medical centers across the kingdom, with about 5,000 to be vaccinated on a daily basis.
