China's self-built and the world's first 100,000-tonne semi-submersible oil and gas production platform hull in the China National Offshore Oil Cooperation finished assembly in Yantai, east China's Shandong Province. It leaves Yantai construction site on January 17 for Hainan, the country's southernmost province. It will be used to develop China's first 1,500-meter deep-water self-operated large gas field – Lingshui 17-2 Project, which symbolizes that China has stepped on a new stage for deep-water oil and gas field development ability.
