Law enforcement agencies have identified 270 suspects in connection with the U.S. Capitol riot last week, FBI Washington field office assistant director Steven D'Antuono said on Friday. More than 100 people have been taken into custody, he said in a statement published on the agency's website. 

The U.S. Justice Department's internal watchdog on Friday said it will review how the FBI and other law enforcement agencies prepared and responded to the riot.
