Shijiazhuang City in north China's Hebei Province reported 32 new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases from midnight to 10 a.m. on Saturday, according to local health authorities. 

Hebei logged 90 new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases on Friday, 83 of which were found in Shijiazhuang.

Authorities announced that Shijiazhuang and Nangong, a county-level city of Xingtai, will remain in closed management until January 19, while Gu'an County in Langfang City will continue to be closed until January 25. 

Local authorities in Nangong said a strict stay-at-home order will be imposed starting from Saturday night forbidding all residents from leaving their houses or workplaces to rein in the spread of COVID-19.
