The 1.7-kilometer street now has a new look but with a strong historical atmosphere after three years of renovation and upgrades. /CFP

Built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), the street has a history of about 800 years and is home to 19 cultural relics, like Guanyuemiao, a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) construction, the Prince Chun Mansion and the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence. /CFP

A rearrangement and rehabilitation project has helped restore a Yuan Dynasty wharf and redesigned the walking spaces at the foot of the walls of Prince Chun Mansion and Guanghua Temple. Four mini parks have also been added along the street. /CFP
