Over 1.6 million people in Beijing have received the COVID-19 vaccine, marking a milestone in the city's goal to inoculate key groups.
To lower the risk of domestic outbreaks, China launched the vaccination plan last December and gave the first dose on January 1.
With no serious adverse reactions yet reported, Beijing plans to complete the inoculation of the second dose for key groups before February 12.
