Demand for negative pressure isolation wards made specially to contain the spread of contagious air-borne diseases have soared in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The design team at Huo Yan Air Lab are known for their inflatable COVID-19 testing lab. It has processed one million swab samples a day in the recent outbreak in northern China. Now, the team has announced that they have developed an inflatable negative pressure room. It can be easily folded, extended or transported for emergency use.
