A school of Yangtze finless porpoises chased each other leisurely in Yichang City, central China's Hubei Province on Sunday. They jumped up from the river, showing off their acrobatic skills.
The Yangtze finless porpoise is a critically endangered species with only around 1,000 in the wild, among which 450 live in Poyang Lake, Jiangxi Province. They often show up and disappear unexpectedly, just like naughty "elves of the Yangtze River."
