China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Sunday recorded 107 new COVID-19 cases, including 102 that were locally transmitted, the Center for Health Protection (CHP) said on Monday.
It's the first time for Hong Kong to report a three-digit daily increase this year.
The city has now logged a total of 9,664 confirmed cases and 163 deaths.
Among the new local infections 42 have an unknown origin, the CHP added.
