The emergency task force created in response to the gold mine blast that happened in east China's Qixia City on January 10 holds a press conference to share the latest on the rescue progress. The rescue team located the 12 trapped miners, drilled one hole from the surface into the tunnel they were, and delivered supplements and other necessities. Twenty-two mine workers were trapped underground after the blast and one was reported dead. An investigation is underway.
