It is a fact, and not an exclusive report by the Chinese media, that the novel coronavirus was found in multiple places in the autumn of 2019, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) spokeswoman Hua Chunying told the media on Monday. When asked about China's official stance on the origin of the novel coronavirus, she said that origin-tracing is a most serious scientific issue. "We should rely on scientists and medical experts to arrive at a conclusion based on science and facts," she said.
