Hong Kong extends social distancing curbs for another week

The government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Tuesday extended social distancing measures until January 27 due to unabated coronavirus infections.

The HKSAR logged 56 COVID-19 cases on Monday, 55 of which were locally transmitted, bringing the total tally to 9,720, according to its Center for Health Protection.
