Located in Tian'an Town, Dongfang City, Hainan Province, the "six-body banyan tree" is a magnificent sight. These banyan trees are more than 300 years old. The banyan aerial roots extended into the ground and then sprouted new branches, forming a six-body wonder: three mother trees are wound as one body, and three young trees stand several meters away, covering an area of more than 1,600 square meters. Local villagers worship them as deity. They put red silk on three mother trees and often come to pray for good fortune.
