As part of the Beijing-Harbin high-speed network, the Beijing-Shenyang high-speed railway, stretching from Shenyang to Beijing, is finally put into operation on Friday. The fastest bullet train in China - Fuxing train, is now ready to make the debut run in China's icy northeast, facilitating travel by people from the northeast working in Beijing, especially with the Chinese Spring Festival drawing close to see people coming and going for family reunion.

The railway is the last section completed along the high-speed railway corridor of northeast China, it is also the crucial part of the country's "Four Verticals and Four Horizontals" master railway network plan.
