China will start the construction this year of a manned space station in a historic first for the country. The station will be commissioned with the unprecedented launching of multiple models of Long March carrier rockets. China will send the core module, the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou-12 manned craft into orbit.
