Castelli Hospital in Ariccia, Italy, has created a plastic hugging area for its COVID-19 patients, allowing patients to embrace their loved ones safely. Having the chance to touch their family members can help patients overcome anxiety and loneliness during the treatment at the hospital. As of January 22, over 84,000 Italians have died from COVID-19 and nearly 2.5 million have been infected.
