Two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors sank the 2,561st triple of his career in the game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. That propelled him over Hall of Famer Reggie Miller to rank second on the NBA's all-time 3-pointers made list. The only one in front of Curry on the list now is Ray Allen, who has buried 2,973 shots from downtown.
It has become almost common sense that all NBA records for 3-point shots belong to Curry since he redefined the skill in 2013. What makes him so special and so different from other great shooters in league history?
