Shanghai moves residents in COVID-19 medium-risk area into quarantine hotels

East China's Shanghai City reported six new local COVID-19 cases on January 21. Around 2,000 residents living in the Zhao Tong Road residential compound in Huangpu District were transferred for centralized isolation after the area was designated a medium-risk environment for COVID-19.

Officials said as the community is located in an old town that is hard to close off, the city has decided to transfer all the residents to designated hotels to be quarantined for two weeks.
