Egypt on January 24 launched its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with the first shots of vaccine developed by Chinese pharmaceutical giant Sinopharm given to a doctor and a nurse. Health Minister Hala Zayed said at a press conference that the inoculation will begin with healthcare workers, followed by elderly people and those who suffer from chronic diseases.
