Seven people were confirmed dead and seven others were injured in a rear-end collision on an expressway on Tuesday in Ganzhou City, east China's Jiangxi Province, local authorities said.

Experts from the traffic management bureau under the Ministry of Public Security have rushed to Jiangxi to investigate the cause of the accident.
