Moon calls for cooperation against COVID-19 at Davos Agenda 2021

South Korean President Moon Jae-in delivered a speech at the Davos Agenda 2021 of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Wednesday via video link, calling for international cooperation to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moon said the year of 2020 was tough for everyone, praising the World Health Organization (WHO) and its members' joint efforts to share the information of novel coronavirus.

Moon added that COVID-19 vaccines were developed in less than a year with global cooperation between different countries, companies and researchers.

Moon also called on all countries to be united and to safeguard multilateral cooperation to achieve sustainable, inclusive development.
