Border guard rescued in 1,500-kilometer air relay from NW to SW China

A border guard stationed on the Ali Plateau in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region had a heart attack. An army aviation brigade in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region sent an emergency medical rescue helicopter to pick up the patient. The brigade undertook a two-helicopter relay to carry out the rescue, covering more than 1,500 kilometers across the two autonomous regions.
