A bus driver encountered a wild Siberian tiger roaming on the road in Wangqing County, Jilin Province's Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, on January 19. Another Siberian tiger also left its footprints on the China-Russia border in Heilongjiang Province's Hulin City. Siberian tigers, one of the world's most endangered species, have frequently appeared in northeast China's provinces of Jilin and Heilongjiang as a result of continued improvement of the natural environment.
